Uppertown Farm
Uppertown farm is a farm situated overlooking Carsington Water Reservoir. It is a 3rd generation family beef and sheep farm, that has been in the family since 1937.
In the early 1980's the farm size was reduced due to the building of Carsington Water Reservoir, the location of our original Caravan and Camping Site is now under water.
The Farm remains unspoiled, keeping the tradition of hedge laying and dry stone walling alive. Although some of the surrounding areas have gone commercial, we are proud to keep the countryside as it was meant to be.

While you are staying with us why not try a meal at the Red Lion in Hognaston village, where at certain times of the year they serve lamb that has been born and raised to a high standard on our farm.

Amazing views from where the site is now, looking over Carsington Water to where the original site was
